Business English Pod lessons are carefully created by an expert team of business English trainers with over 50 years of frontline experience in business English training. Our content developers have worked with some of the world’s leading companies in a variety of fields including engineering, telecommunications, aerospace, financial services, and medicine. We don’t just understand English, we understand how to use English for business communication.
Business English Pod was founded in 2007 by Peter Atkinson and Paul Goddard, a pair of business English trainers based in Shanghai. Our goal since day one has been to provide quality business English lessons in a user-friendly podcast format.
Day-to-day operations are covered by a team led by Peter, based in Cyprus, and our courseware specialist, Swaroop Chakrabort, based in Pune. Business English Pod has always been a group effort and the following team members’ talent and passion have been essential to our success.
- Zach Howlett – Our first full time writer who penned some of our classic lessons (BEP 27-120) and provided much needed pedological clarity.
- Paul Meredith – Our audio maestro who has worked with BEP since day one and continues to finesse all our recordings.
