En BEP 55 – Salidas y despegues del aeropuerto, alan, el personaje principal de nuestra historia, y honesto, su colega, han dejado Hong Kong hacia San Francisco. Allí pasarán por inmigración., recoger sus maletas, y cambiar de avión a Michigan, que es donde su empresa, Ambiente, tiene su sede.
La inmigración es el proceso que se sigue para entrar a un país extranjero.. Entonces, en la lección de ESL de hoy, aprenderá vocabulario y frases útiles para viajes que podrá utilizar cuando ingrese a los EE. UU.. u otros países.

It is a very good tool for teachers like me who are looking for authentic material for their students. Sin embargo, for most intermediate students, el “extra” language explanations might make it hard for students to concentrate on the target language and also find it difficult to follow the amount of information in the whole listening.
As a teacher, I will select only the dialog to work with private students. I may assign the whole listening to more advanced ESL students.
Thanks for your comment. I tend to agree with you that the explanations can sometimes be a bit too ‘dense’, especially for intermediate users and below.
This is one of the reasons we publish a PhraseCast for each podcast. The PhraseCasts contain just the dialog, examples phrases and the speaking practice from each lesson. Besides being more accessible for lower level learners, they are a useful revision tool for more advanced students.
