People are busy. ينشغل الناس. When you telephone people, they often aren’t there to take your call, so you need to leave a message. الهاتف عند الناس ، انهم كثيرا ما لا تكون هناك دعوة الى اتخاذ الخاص بك ، لذا انت بحاجة الى ترك رسالة. And almost everyone has to answer the telephone and take a message sometimes. والكل تقريبا قد للرد على الهاتف ورسالة تتخذ في بعض الاحيان. Doing so professionally leaves a good impression on your customers, colleagues and boss. مهنيا ذلك يترك انطباعا جيدا عن الزبائن والزملاء وبوس.
Today we will hear a bad example and a good example of taking and leaving a telephone message. اليوم سوف نستمع مثالا سيئا ومثالا جيدا للاخذ وترك رسالة هاتفية.
Justin Thomas is with Trivesco, a major shipyard, or maker of ships. توماس هو جستن مع trivesco ، فان قسطا كبيرا من السفن ، او صانع السفن. He is calling Sylvie Peterson at Daneline, a shipping company. وهو يدعو الى سيلفي بيترسون في daneline ، شركة النقل البحري. Sylvie is a sales and purchase (S&P) broker. سيلفي هي بيع وشراء (ستاندارد اند بورز) للسمسار. A broker is a middleman or negotiator. سمسار او وسيط ، هو المفاوض. Sylvie specializes in negotiating the purchase of “newbuildings” or newly built ships. سيلفي متخصص فى التفاوض بشان شراء "newbuildings" بنيت حديثا او السفن. Amy, the receptionist, answers the phone. امي ، واستقبال ، ويجيب الهاتف.
